Hello Friends!
Another crazy month has come to an end. This was a very busy month for me and my family.
I participated in the Christmas Craft Off (#christmascraftoff23) hosted by Rach And Bella Crafts. I was extremely anxious when I saw I was paired with Tina from Shabbydabbydoodah
on YouTube!! I didn't sleep for days and couldn't come up for an idea for my video. My husbands advice was to keep it simple. Maybe I went for to simple, but at least I survived and had a video on time. Here is the link for my video on my YouTube channel, Miemie's Keepsakes.
I do like the decorated fussy cut pieces. I used it throughout my journal to make dangles, paper clips, clusters, faux stamps and a belly band. So much fun!!
The rest of the month was a mad and crazy rush to get ready for a Christmas Craft Market. Believe me it was a crazy time. I had to make ephemera and journals (many of them still a work in progress😁) , do paperwork for the business and insurance claim and go about the regular day to day chores. Luckily I have wonderful friends that are always happy to help! Lynn, Cheryl and Darlene came to my house and hello to put kits together, package everything up and add labels. I can never thank you enough!! You are the best friends anyone can ever ask for!! Here are some photos from our booth
What a fun day! We connected with wonderful people and made new friends. Thank you to Yvonne from Black Rabbit Fabrics for organizing the event!!!
The Christmas market was followed by a couple of days of doing some paperwork, putting supplies away and organizing my craft room as we used a lot of shelves from my room for our display. In between I recorded a couple of videos, worked on my Christmas journal and went on a road trip with my friend Lynn for the Black Friday sales in the US! So much fun!!! we went to JoAnnes at 6am and found a lot of beautiful discounted fabrics. Then we went to Hobby Lobby for Mod Podge and went home with a lot more than that. After that we went to a huge Antiaue Mall and spent the day there! The amount of treasures was absolutely amazing!! Every booth had something awesome in it. Then I came home and had a bit of an accident and
was in bed and on crutches for 3 days. My knee is much better now, but it definitely slowed me down at the end of the month!😁😁
I have big plans for December. First I have to decorate my house for Christmas. I am going to participate in Dephemerember again and make a journal this year. Last year I used the prompts and made ephemera only. In between, I want to work in my December daily and start planning for 2024!
